Any communication is good; even the most basic form.  But the only way you will really get to know someone is by advancing beyond facebook. The first advance might be texting; that’s good! Next Emailing; better! Next chatting on the phone; Awesome! And lastly in person; the best. Lets look a little closer shall we?

Texting: Over a message which takes less than 20 seconds to write and 10 to read there lacks a certain amount of personality, honestly. And we tend to slack off and not pay attention or we might even say something we don’t mean! Why? Not because texting is bad; because its routine.  Lets face it you do it all the time!

Email: Slightly more formal. At least you are putting more time into it, right? Good…but lets not give it the great award yet.

Phone calls (Great!):  Talk on the phone. Hear the voice of your friend. Learn how to listen. Learn what they’re voice sounds like! Learn how long and in what way it takes them to say things! Remember, this conversation is only gonna happen once…and its happening with you. Wow.

In Person: There is no better way! You’re there! You see the sacrifice being made… One on one or with a group you are in full communication with your friend. What? Full communication – Communion!

YES! COMMUNION! The ultimate! As good as it gets! In touch! In person! With Christ!

Your friendship with GOD is just like your friendship with the person you know best!

Texting: A routine event that becomes second nature. Night Prayer, Morning prayer etc. Not totally original.

Emails: A rosary or divine mercy chaplet; at least you’re putting more time into it.

Phone Calls: Meditation. Your listing to what God has to say. And how He wants you to hear it. With Christ there is no answering machine or secretary; He wants to tell you something NOW that will revolutionize your life at this moment. Don’t just take a message. Its incredible!

Just like your boyfriend, girlfriend, parent or sibling communication with God is crucial!

Through spending time with someone you get to know them…and they you! Talk to God! So yes… God is all-knowing. But just because Susie has told Jake all about you – does that mean you shouldn’t introduce yourself to him?! Talk to God! Tell him about yourself in your own words/prayers.  Tell him all about the life He’s given you and thank him for every moment of it! But equally (and sometimes more important) is listening. Learn what God’s voice sounds like! Just like any other friend, ask about Him…be curious…learn…love! Just like your love your best best friend. Don’t treat God as just another person you know – You must remember to Live for Him because He died for you.

Here I will demonstrate for you how to put together another promotional poster!

First I found a good picture to suit what I had in mind. After that I cropped out and removed all the unnecessary type inserted into the picture. Then extended (Edit/transform)  the background to fit a wallpaper (1024/768 pixels)

After doing this I had to find an additional photo to be pasted in along side the first character in the poster. I knew I wanted to place her (Jessica) against the wall a bit distant from the primary character (Lucas).

After finding the appropriate photo (Above) I had to do some adjustments to make it work…resize, tilt, crop, copy, past, ta-da!

As you see there are triangles added now on either side of the picture. I had to do this because the photo of Jessica was slightly cut off, so in order for her not to be split in half the added layers were necessary. It was convent how the person Jessica was laying on in picture #3 was wearing black; passing for shading when she was inserted.

After pasting Jessica into the photo with Lucas I had to now change to color tones so their skin matched a little better…

After completing to former (though they turned out slightly sun burnt looking) now it is time to add the logo/title!

Not totally satisfied yet I extended the left triangle to make more room for the logo to fit. Now running the home stretch it is time for my favorite part!

To jazz of the triangle look I decided to fade in a few other pictures … to do this I pasted the picture where I wished it to be faded in, clicked edit/define pattern, and then faded it in using the stamp pattern tool which works just like a paintbrush. Once I was done fading in additional photos I washed out the color slightly to take away the sun-burnt look and then played around with some Artistic filters…and so…

I suppose you could just call it a summer hiatus from my blog.

I’ve had many clamoring fans asking questions like, “Where have you been Dizzymissliz?” and “I’m still looking for more omelet recipes!”… “Have you died?” … “Are you an Alien?” … “Why don’t you stop spinning?” … “Does this dress make me look fat, Dizzymissliz?” … “Could you photoshop yourself to have 12 heads?” … “What kind of a name is Dizzy? and why did your parents name you it?”……while these questions (and clamoring fans) are all fictional; I’m still random

Well this summer has been a busy one, and its been filled with Weddings, Family visits, beach vacations, hanging out with friends, and making music videos! Needless to say its been a busy summer (so far).  But I’m hoping that i’ll be able to make time to share my many little (random) thoughts with y’all once again!

Day #2 omelette; Chicken Garlic

Ingredients

1. Three Eggs

2.  Half a Chicken Breast

3. Onions

4.   1/4   t-spoon Minced Garlic

5. Monterey  Jack Cheese

6. Salsa (optional)

Directions

1. Beat eggs and add Garlic.

2. Poor Eggs and Garlic into greased pan.

3. Add Onions and Chicken into partially cooked eggs.

4. Fold omelette and cook until golden brown.

5.  Remove from pan and sprinkle cheese over top so it melts.

6. WAIT! Be sure to say grace before digging in!

Phew. I’d definitely rate that one better than yesterdays! 4…maybe even 5! What do you think? I like garlic so… I guess I’m partial. And besides, I didn’t turn this one into scrambled eggs when I flipped it

Up next; Pizza Omelette Hmmm….

Yesterday I began a sort of test: For the next ten days (Tuesday to Friday) I am going to do an Omelette contest! Each day for breakfast I’ll try a new invention. Sound good? Here goes…

Day #1 omelette; Traditional

Ingredients

1.  Four Eggs

2. Chedder Cheese

3.  Two Tomato Slices

4. One Slice of Ham

5. Four Slices of Green Pepper

6. Salsa (optional)

Directions

1. Beat eggs and poor into greased pan.

2. Add Tomatos, Peppers, Ham, and Cheese into partially cooked eggs.

3. Fold into Omelette. Cook until desired golden brown.

4. Add salsa and enjoy!

There ya go! Traditional omelette complete! I would rate it a 3 out of 5. Not to bad; but I think we can do better!

The original score by Micheal Giacchino, l I loved hearing this song on the LOST Cd. I liked it so much that I decided one day (two years ago) to sit down and figure it out on the piano. Now, while this is a very simple version of the song and has no counts (yet).  I finally wrote it down! I hope you like it.
